"I have a client that uses Swank every year for their annual event. They love a big stage and the feeling that comes with it, but this year they booked a too small of a space.

Maximum capacity for the room was 400, and they had already sold 350 seats. I had to fit a big production feel into a small production space.

My first proposal was a 4 projector blended image. There was no room for rear projection, so I had to layout the stage so that the podium was between the beams of the projectors.

I also had to light the stage with minimal impact on the set. I was able to use LD Assistant to test my lighting angles to see if it would work.

The show was later downgraded to 2 screens with a hard set, and a 3rd projector for the client logo, but the space issues remained.

On show day, I had to spike out every detail on the floor including the tables and chairs. The show worked out to the inch. My electricians thought there was no way the lighting angles would work, but they did work exactly as I had determined from LD Assistant."
