Ken McKibben has worked with media presentation systems for the last decade and currently oversees operations for MediaMerge, Inc., a systems integrator specializing in the design, installation, service and support of sound, video, theatrical lighting, and broadcast systems for churches. MediaMerge projects received multiple awards as part of the WFX 2006 House of Worship Awards.
"At MediaMerge, we use LD Assistant as a sales tool. We work with churches from the ground up, and sometimes it's difficult for the people on the various committees and teams to visualize how the presentation is going to come together in a facility that is still in the drawing phase. We've found that anytime you can show a client what you're thinking on the creative side of the design, they become more comfortable with the idea of spending money maximizing presentation technologies like sound, video, lighting, etc.
The tools in the LD Assistant software package give us a big edge because it allows us to show the client instead of trying to sell them. Once they get a good sense of how the room is going to look and feel, the committees usually get motivated to raise whatever additional funds are required to make it happen. It's win-win, really. The client gets a unique presentation experience for their congregation, and we're able to leverage our creativity and expertise. That differentiates us from the competition and translates to higher revenues in the end.” Ken Mckibben www.mediamerge.com |
